This provincial capitol has a modern city hall, hospital, public market and park with modern roads, streets and excellent drainage. The city also has the distinction of being the only city in the country with an almost 100% Catholic population.

  • Tres Crusis Dam purifies an abundant water supply coming from the surrounding brooks.
  • The Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole, par 72 Sherwood Hills Golf and Country Club, along Governor’s Drive in Brgys. Cabezas and Lailana, is an “inland links type” golf course with wide fairways, good size greens and holes fully exposed to players.
Brief History
  • Trece Martires was formerly a barrio of Tanza
  • It was created on May 24, 1954 and became the capital of the province by virtue of Republic Act No. 981.
  • The city's name was derived from the 13 martyrs of Cavite.
